The Interior Cafe | Fifties console, coffee table & Dingdong wall clock

These projects set the start of a cooperation with The Interior Cafe online shop: high quality, sustainable and fair trade design made in Europe.

Inspired by designers such as George Nelson, Carlo Mollino and Raymond Loewy, Paolo designed the “Fifties” furniture range that represents a dive into the past of the “glorious 50s” re-interpreted in a contemporary way. The design of this collection was inspired by the genuine and even naive dynamism inherent to all those objects in use at that time. The Fifties collection is manufactured in Belgium by the high-end interior carpentry Elft exclusively for The Interior Cafe.

The “Dingdong” wall clock is the first item of a series of products made from Birch plywood. The Dingdong clock is available with sides and pendulum coloured in red, blue, green or yellow. The front side of the clock is treated with slightly white 100% natural oil-wax.
